REPORT FROM THE JOURNAL OF ADOLESCENT HEALTH

According to a 2013 report from the Journal of Adolescent Health children of military personnel, specifically adolescents. may be atincreased risk of experiencing poorer well-being overall and depressive symptoms specifically. Rates of suicidal ideation in our sample were also higher than reported in other studies. One in four children of military personnel have experienced suicidal ideation. RESEARCH CONDUCTED BY THE LUCAS GROUP

Research conducted by The Lucas Group on behalf of our partner organization Children of Fallen Patriots found that in the US nearly 20,000 dependents have been left behind by troops killed in the line of duty over the past 35 years.
